House Attendant
- Follow all rules and regulations as outlined in employee handbook.
- Report to work on time and in assigned uniform.
- Report guest/employee complaints immediately to the Executive Housekeeper
- Implement and ensure that proper key controls are in effect.
- Ensure that our personal grooming reflects our personal pride at all times,
- Be respectful and discreet towards guests, coworkers and property.
- Understand and comply with all aspects of hotel’s health, safety and fire policy.
- Ensure proper care of furniture, fixtures and equipment within the hotel
- Identify and report any health or safety hazard.
- Ensure guest privacy is respected and considered confidential.
- Turn in all articles left by guests to housekeeping with no exception.
- Maintains linen rooms with adequate stock of all supplies to maintain correct par level.
- Transports all clean and dirty linen to the appropriate areas.
- Deliver any special guest request items as assigned by Exec., Asst. Exec. or Supervisor.
- Prepare chemicals and restock all caddies with par cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Check all back of the house areas to ensure hallways and locker rooms are clean.
- Carry out other duties as may be required to ensure the Hotel Operation is properly maintained to provide total guest satisfaction
- Shampoos carpet, cleans hallways, and sweeps stairwells as needed
- Maintains hotel common areas to the standards of 5 star / 5 diamond hotel.
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping preferred
- Carpet cleaning experience is strength.
- Ability to read, write, count and speak clearly
- Ability to communicate clearly to staff, managers and guests required.
- Clear understanding of par levels and why they exist.
- Must be able to kneel, bend, twist, climb stairs walk and perform tasks of repetitive motion to successfully complete job duties.
- Must be able to reach overhead, reach forward, push/pull and handle/finger objects
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to work unsupervised and maintain high standards while being sensitive to time deadline.
- Must be able to work a flexible shift including holidays and weekends.
