Vice President of Operations #0405FM
A growing regional company is looking for a Vice President of Operations to lead service delivery, operational performance, and scalable growth across the organization. This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring that client commitments are delivered consistently, teams are aligned, and operational processes support continued expansion.
The right candidate will be a strategic and hands-on operator who can manage leaders, improve systems, support client success, and partner with sales and executive leadership to strengthen the company’s performance in the local market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day and long-term operational strategy across the assigned region
- Oversee service delivery, team performance, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency
- Manage and develop operational managers and department leaders
- Partner with sales and client-facing teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service execution
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators, reporting processes, and accountability systems
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow, cost control, quality, and client retention
- Support planning for regional growth, staffing, capacity, and resource allocation
- Ensure teams are aligned with company standards, client expectations, and internal procedures
- Resolve escalated client or operational issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
Requirements
Essential
- 10 or more years of progressive operations leadership experience
- 5 or more years of experience managing managers or multi-functional teams
- Experience in a B2B services, commercial services, logistics, facilities, staffing, or similar operational environment
- Strong track record of improving service delivery, efficiency, and team performance
- Ability to lead through growth, change, and process improvement
- Strong financial, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
- Comfortable working closely with sales, finance, HR, and executive leadership
- Experience managing budgets, KPIs, performance reporting, and client service standards
Preferred
- Experience overseeing multi-site or regional operations
- Background in scaling operational processes for a growing company
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, management, or a related field
- Advanced degree or operational certification is a plus
Benefits
$180,000 to $230,000 base annually, plus bonus potential
