Senior Staff Accountant - Newport Beach -

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations for multiple hotel properties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working with a diverse team.

Key Responsibilities
Post journal entries to accurately record monthly and quarterly transactions.
Reconcile multiple bank accounts and perform monthly account reconciliations.
Record and reconcile credit card accounts.
Assist in monthly financial closings and preparation of financial statements—ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
Prepare and maintain supporting financial work papers.
Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Demonstrate excellent attendance and report on time.
Maintain compliance with company policies, practices, and procedures.
Collaborate proactively to achieve departmental and company goals.
Foster effective communication with colleagues and team members.
Adapt to changing priorities and deadlines with flexibility.
Review work for accuracy and completeness, ensuring proper authority is in place.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on hospitality accounting.
Familiarity with Marriott Lightspeed Systems.
Experience with M3 accounting software is a plus.
