Position Overview

The Supply Chain Manager will oversee and manage the entire supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance within the food manufacturing industry. This role involves collaborating with various teams to enhance procurement, logistics, and production planning processes while maintaining high standards of customer service and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize operations and reduce costs.
• Manage logistics and distribution processes to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Collaborate with production teams to align supply chain activities with manufacturing schedules.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, CODEX, and SQF standards in all supply chain activities.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage procurement processes to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in supply chain performance and efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing supply chain-related inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Analyze data and trends to forecast supply chain needs and identify potential risks.
• Coordinate international supply chain activities to ensure smooth operations across borders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the food manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain concepts, logistics, and procurement processes.
• Experience with co-packing and copacking operations is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with FDA, USDA, CODEX, and SQF regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven negotiation skills and experience in supplier relationship management.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of international supply chain dynamics and production planning.
