ANALYST II – BOATING AND WATERWAYS DIVISION / HEADQUARTERS / SACRAMENTO

The reporting location for this position is 715 P Street, Sacramento, CA. This position will work under the direction of Deputy Director.

This position provides direct, daily support to the Deputy Director of the Division of Boating & Waterways. As an Administrative Assistant, you will join the CA State Parks Dept./Division of Boating & Waterways in promoting safe, enjoyable, responsible recreational boating throughout the state. You will work with other state employees, agencies, as well as city, county and other recreational boating safety stakeholders. You will use your organizational skills to keep the Deputy Director's office ready to respond to stakeholders and promote recreational boating safety. A love or knowledge of recreational boating is not required, but a willingness to professionally grow, and expand your knowledge of recreation is! We look forward to seeing your application!

This position requires a valid Class C driver’s license. You must answer the questions addressing your driver’s license on your application. Ensure you provide your driver’s license number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions on your application.

Travel in support of the Deputy Director and DBW Commission is required. Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle.

This position is designated as telework eligible office centered.
