AM Expediter / Market Attendant

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Carry food from the kitchen into the dining room to be served to the guest
- Communicate directly with the culinary team with respect to where the guests are at within their dining experience
- Verbally advise the culinary team when to begin preparing a guest’s next course
- Communicate any potential guest issues directly with the culinary team as well as the serving team
- Properly set up work-station prior to the beginning of each shift as well as properly break down at the end of each shift
- Must know what each dish is and be able to properly explain it, along with the ingredients, to the guest
- Must be able to keep a clean and organized work station.
- Must adhere to all sanitation and food safety protocols.
- Must have good multitasking skills and be able to work quickly and efficiently under sometimes intense conditions.
- Must be able to work on their feet for long periods of time while sometimes carrying heavy items.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in a similar boutique hotel preferred
- Valid Food Handling certification
- Ability to use repetitive hand and body motions on a regular basis such as grasping, typing, writing, listening, hearing, and visual acuity
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time on varying ground levels with stairs on a regular basis
- Ability to lift 20 pounds or more on a consistent basis and to bend, stoop, stretch, climb and squat frequently to fulfill a range of manual tasks
Pay rate for the Market Attendant / Expediter position is $16.50 per hour + tips
