AI Product Manager (Builder Track)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for an AI Product Manager who owns the product vision and builds alongside the team. This role is for practitioners who have crossed the line from product thinking into hands-on development. People who can write the spec and ship the prototype in the same week.

The ideal candidate is a product leader who has expanded their skill set into hands-on development, using AI-assisted tools as a force multiplier. You think in systems, move in sprints, and close the loop from idea to working product. You're not a traditional PM who defines requirements from a distance, you're someone who stays close to the build and contributes directly to it.

WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO

Product Leadership

• Define product strategy and success metrics for AI-powered internal and external tools
• Translate organizational needs and user feedback into prioritized, actionable roadmaps
• Own stakeholder communication, translating technical complexity into clear business framing for leadership
• Comfortable owning the full product lifecycle, including QA, documentation, and stakeholder alignment

Hands-On Building

• Partner with the team to prototype, validate, and iterate quickly, contributing directly to early builds when speed demands it
• Scaffold and iterate on functional prototypes independently using AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent
• Integrate AI APIs, connect data sources, and build tools that work in production, not just demos

Collaboration & Enablement

• Mentor teammates on product thinking and how to apply AI tools more effectively in their own workflows
• Work closely with engineers to bridge the gap between product vision and working software
• Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization

WHAT YOU BRING

• Proven experience defining and driving product roadmaps from discovery through delivery
• Strong instincts for user research, problem framing, and ruthless prioritization
• Track record of shipping products that real users depend on, not just prototypes that live in Figma
• Actively building with AI-assisted development tools: Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent
• Comfortable working with modern web stacks at a conceptual and practical level, enough to unblock yourself, debug intelligently, and have real conversations with engineers
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving projects forward independently
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Deep familiarity with AI API integration and data source connectivity

• Experience building internal tooling or automation platforms
