Job Overview

Innovatus Technology Consulting is seeking a versatile Mid-Level Power Platform Developer to join our team in San Diego, CA. In this role, you will be a "bolted-on" technical expert capable of supporting the full Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem—integrating data visualizations, custom application development, and workflow automation to support mission-critical DoD initiatives. The ideal candidate moves beyond just dashboards, leveraging the complete suite of Power Platform tools to build end-to-end business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Platform Development: Design and deploy integrated solutions using Power BI , Power Apps , and Power Automate to streamline complex government processes.
• App Development: Build and maintain both Canvas and Model-Driven Apps (MDA) to improve data collection and user interaction for stakeholders.
• Workflow Automation: Create sophisticated cloud flows in Power Automate to handle cross-platform triggers and automated business logic.
• Data Architecture: Manage and optimize data structures within Dataverse , ensuring seamless integration between apps and reporting layers.
• Advanced Analytics: Develop complex Power BI dashboards utilizing expert-level DAX and SQL to provide "clarity at a glance" for senior leadership.
• Technical Support & Integration: Act as a flexible technical resource for the team, troubleshooting issues across the Power Platform and assisting with data engineering (ETL) via Power Query .

Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in technical development, with a specific focus on the Microsoft Power Platform suite.
• Clearance: Active Secret Clearance is mandatory .
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Power BI: Expert knowledge of DAX and star-schema data modeling.
  • Power Apps: Hands-on experience building Canvas and Model-Driven Apps .
  • Power Automate: Ability to design complex automated workflows.
  • Data Management: Proficiency in Dataverse and SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with NAVWAR , PEO Digital , or other Navy-specific data environments.
• Microsoft Certifications: PL-100 (App Maker), PL-200 (Functional Consultant), or PL-400 (Developer).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies using Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of ODIN systems and workflows (though training can be provided).
