We are looking for motivated, passionate, intelligent and talented sales professionals to join our sales family in the Solana Beach area of San Diego.

ABOUT THE ROLE - A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US:

This position entails speaking with small business owners across the country with the primary objective of identifying and evaluating the financial needs of their business and provide them with a solution that best compliments and adheres to their specific funding goals. This is a relationship, consultative sales role, where both listening and asking questions are imperative to uncover, understand and obtain a clear picture of the financial needs of the business owner.

As a valued contributor to our sales team, our sales team members are responsible for cultivating new opportunities and leads both within our database (warm calls) and capitalizing on both our inbound internet leads and incoming marketing calls generated through our monthly marketing programs (Yes, these would be considered HOT!)

Training our new sales team members is our highest priority, providing 1:1 and team training on an ongoing basis. For our new team members, our goal is to prepare you to handle and manage all facets of the sales cycle. You will be responsible and accountable for the due process and procedures (aka the paperwork) of assisting your clients with obtaining the financial funding they need and require, with emphasis on client care, maintaining relationships and follow-up as you build your portfolio & book of business.

We are looking for a career-oriented sales professional who is ready and wanting to become an integral player and an elite team member of our organization. We hire quality, not quantity.

ABOUT YOU

  • 2 - 3 years of sales experience (inside sales preferred but not required)
  • Comprehensive understanding of selling intangibles - services not widgets
  • Strong math skills - we are a finance company, we provide financial solutions, math plays a big role
  • College Degree preferred. College graduates with Finance/Business degrees encouraged to review and apply if interested
  • Possess a strong work ethic - on time, punctual, reliable, committed, invested and possess a sense of professional pride in what you do and how you do it
  • A professional demeanor with strong written, oral, and communication skills (Yes, we do laugh a lot and have fun at work!)
  • Salesforce / CRM / Outlook experience
  • Previous phone sales, telemarketing, cold calling experience a huge plus
  • Positive attitude, high energy, eager to learn our business, be coachable & trainable (we want to set you up for success), you strive to be the best you can be, possess a competitive spirit, a team player mentality and financially (money) motivated
