Position Summary
Hatalom Corporation is seeking a highly organized and mission-focused Logistics Manager to oversee medical warehouse support services in San Diego, CA . This position is contingent upon the successful award of a government contract and will play a critical role in ensuring efficient and compliant logistics operations in support of medical material storage, handling, and distribution.
The Logistics Manager will lead daily operations, manage personnel, oversee inventory tracking systems, and ensure adherence to applicable regulations, particularly those related to medical and federal logistics. Contingent upon contract award.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the medical warehouse, including receiving, storage, and distribution of medical materials and equipment.
- Supervise warehouse staff and ensure all personnel are trained and compliant with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Develop and implement logistical procedures to maximize efficiency, accuracy, and accountability.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to end-users.
- Maintain accurate inventory using government or commercial inventory systems.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, security, and medical logistics regulations.
- Act as the primary liaison between Hatalom, government personnel, vendors, and transportation providers.
- Prepare and submit required reports, audits, and documentation in accordance with contract requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Familiarity with medical logistics, inventory control systems, and warehouse management software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a government clearance if required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting federal contracts, particularly within the Department of Defense (DoD) or healthcare agencies.
- Prior military logistics or government warehouse management experience.
- Certifications such as APICS CPIM/CSCP, PMP, or equivalent.
- Experience with Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) or equivalent systems.
Work Conditions
- Full-time, onsite in San Diego, CA.
- May require occasional travel to support contract needs.
- Must be able to lift and move materials in accordance with warehouse requirements.
