Salary: $17.00 per hour to start

Position Purpose: Clean guest rooms and stock with appropriate amenities, linen and terry in the prescribed manner while following safety and security procedures. Provide friendly and helpful service to hotel guests.

Essential Functions of the position:

• Attending Pre-shift meetings to learn daily room assignments and the day’s tasks.
• Stocking Housekeeping Carts with cleaning supplies, fresh linen and terry, and amenities.
• Cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, making beds, sterilizing and restocking guest rooms.
• Removing all soiled linen, terry, and trash from guest rooms.
• Ensuring everything is in working order, and reporting when something is broken or malfunctioning.
• Responding to guest requests and reporting guest issues in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Report missing articles, damage or mechanical problems, and turning in articles left in rooms.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Very friendly and guest service orientated.
• Assist in laundry

Education and/or Experience

Knowledge, Skill and Experience: Prior housekeeping experience a plus

Class B Gaming License (As provided for a nominal fee with a clean background check)

Working Conditions:

Smoking environment, Noise, chemicals, fumes, allergens, mildew, and handling of biohazardous material.

Physical Requirements:

Walking, stooping, standing, bending, reaching overhead, lifting, kneeling, climbing stairs.
