The Role
Were ushering in a new era of ticketing and fan experience As a Fullstack Engineer on our Consumer Engineering team youll build both frontend and backend systems that power seamless engaging experiences for sports fans. Youll have the chance to make meaningful product decisions and deliver features that are seen used and loved by a high volume of fans. Working closely with designers product managers and engineers youll help shape build and iterate on web experiences while strengthening the technical foundation that supports them.

What youll do:

• Build and maintain fan-facing web experiences using React and TypeScript

• Design and implement backend services using TypeScript GraphQL (Apollo) and AWS (Cognito SES Fargate Lambda Aurora Postgres DynamoDB)

• Collaborate on architectural and technical decisions to ensure scalable reliable systems

• Translate ambiguous product requirements into clear user-friendly solutions

• Participate in code reviews design discussions and knowledge sharing

• Apply product thinking and empathy for fans to balance technical tradeoffs with user experience

• Help define and maintain internal standards patterns and best practices
  

What youll bring:

• 4 years of software engineering experience

• Strong experience with React TypeScript on the frontend

• Strong experience with and TypeScript on the backend

• Familiarity with AWS services such as Cognito DynamoDB Postgres and serverless or containerized architectures

• Strong problem-solving collaboration and communication skills

• Experience incorporating AI tools into development workflows
  

Nice to have (but not required):

• Experience with Panda CSS or similar CSS frameworks

• Experience with GraphQL for frontend-backend communication

• Hands-on product thinking and empathy for end users

• Exposure to event-driven architecture or distributed systems

Compensation

Compensation is something we dont want our candidates or employees to worry about. Our goal is to offer competitive salaries that are regularly benchmarked against the market. The core tenets of our compensation philosophy are fairness and transparency.

We have established a standardized leveling framework based on job scope and responsibilities. The compensation package for each level is standard across all engineering roles. This means that every person at a certain level is paid the same as everyone else regardless of their background previous compensation location or any other factor.

The compensation for this role is $150000 and includes a generous equity package.
