Customer Support Technical Representative Call Center Location San Diego, CA (Sorrento Valley area) :

Job Duties Include:

  • Actively engaging and providing superior service to our inbound customers
  • Responsible for providing quality service to customers via phone in account activation, maintenance, billing, problem solving, mediation, enhancement, troubleshooting and, when required, de-activation.
  • Handles full service end to end billing related questions, issues and concerns ranging from general questions to payment related items as well as Video, Internet and Voice repairs by troubleshooting with customers to resolve difficult issue with video, data and phone services utilizing all available diagnostic tools and resources
  • Assists field employees in setting up and authorizing customer accounts, schedules and cancels work orders for technicians
  • Works with upper management to streamline troubleshooting processes as well as create and maintain appropriate troubleshooting procedures
  • Effectively assessing and troubleshooting equipment issues
  • Utilizing problem solving skills to resolve customer questions and concerns

What is the Community Solutions Repair Representative role?

It's about building relationships and turning the knowledge you gain in training into customer service wins. Community Solutions Repair Representatives make a real difference to their customers and the company, providing over-the-phone technical support for Video, Internet, and Phone services to customers in community, bulk, and multiple dwelling unit (MDU) accounts.

What is takes to get started:

The minimum requirements for the Community Solutions Technical Repair Representative role are:

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications for the Community Solutions Repair Representative are:

  • 6 months or more customer service experience
  • 6 months or more of basic technical support or troubleshooting experience
  • 1 year or more working with computers and multiple software applications
  • 6 months or more heavy volume phone experience in a customer service/call center job
