Summary

Primary focus is to analyze incoming transportation company bills and coding them to the correct business unit account. Focuses resources on continuous improvement, processes and establishes key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis. Performs supply chain and logistics functions.

Essential Functions

• A professional individual contributor / technical expert.

• Import/export, responsible for an economical and efficient flow of goods analysis.

• Applies knowledge and skills to complete own work.

• Depends on others for instruction, guidance, and direction.

• Develops competence in own area by performing routine work.

• Analyze transportation assets and systems to gain greater service, cost efficiency and optimization of processes.

• Provide information necessary to comply with international trade regulations analysis.

• Reviews import products at lowest applicable duty rates.

• Streamline import/export processing with less re-work and auditing.

• Integrate compliance into processes and culture of BD.

• Review internal competency for managing global trade compliance.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree, preferred

• 6 months experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable and/or bill coding experience
