Bilingual Medical Front Office

Front Desk Job Duties:

• Registers all Patients in multiple systems.
• Verifies all patient information, including demographics and insurance information.
• Verifies that patient appointment matches patient's referral.
• Collects co-pays and payments accurately and consistently.
• Stocks front desk with dally supplies and necessary forms.
• Backup of Patient Coordinator duties as needed.
• Protocols patient appointments the day before they are scheduled to come in.
• Facilitates patient flow by updating EMR with patients' arrival and patients' ready for service. Notifies patients of any delays.
• Prioritize patient appointments according to their appointment/schedule.
• Maintaining the reception area as well as any area of the office that needs attention.
• Welcomes patients and visitors by making eye contact, smiling, and responding to all inquiries in a

courteous manner.

• Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties and answering patients' questions as well as assisting with their paperwork when needed.
• May train or orient new employees and assist supervisor with other duties as assigned.
• Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information by not leaving sensitive information in plain sight and logging off the computer before leaving it unattended.
• Flexibility in covering several different rotating shifts.
• Scanning forms and inputting data into Patient's Electronic Chart.

Required education:

• High school or equivalent Required experience:
• 1-year experience working in Medical Office Must be Bilingual

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
