Supply Chain Data Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Supply Chain Data Governance Specialist to lead data stewardship initiatives across our retail supply chain ecosystem. This role is ideal for a seasoned expert who can bridge business strategy, data governance, and technical execution while influencing leadership at the highest levels.

• Pay Range - $80-85/hr

Responsibilities:

• Lead enterprise?level data governance initiatives across procurement, planning, logistics, and inventory domains

• Establish and maintain data standards, definitions, and quality frameworks

• Partner with cross?functional teams to improve data accuracy, lineage, and accessibility

• Present insights and recommendations to senior executives and C?Suite stakeholders

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies

• Support the development of AI?enabled process automation and data?driven decision tools

Required Qualifications:

Business & Leadership Experience

• 15+ years in data stewardship or data governance within the retail supply chain

• Deep understanding of end?to?end supply chain processes (procurement, planning, logistics)

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

• Executive presence with proven success presenting to senior leadership

• Demonstrated track record of driving process improvements; Lean/Six Sigma a plus

Technical Expertise

• Advanced knowledge of data modeling and metadata management

• Working familiarity with SQL and data?profiling techniques (preferred, not required)

• Experience with data governance and data?quality platforms; ATLAN experience is a plus

• Strong understanding of retail inventory and supply chain data structures, system landscapes, and data flows

• Experience building process?related AI agents is a plus
