Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team in preparation for procedures in the operating room.
- Create and maintain a sterile field; retract and pass instruments, supplies, and medications to surgeons during cases.
- Perform a variety of technical tasks, including maintenance of supplies and equipment related to the procedure.
- Support intraoperative patient care as part of operating room services; may include related perioperative functions.
- Adhere to infection control and safety standards; manage instrument counts and orderly turnover between cases.
- Note: This role does not include PACU, anesthesia functions, preoperative holding, or central sterile duties.

Requirements
- Ability to work in an operating room environment; day shift availability for a 13-week assignment.
- Prior OR tech or surgical technologist experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, instrument handling, and OR supply management.
- Able to stand for extended periods and assist with physically demanding tasks.
- Travel-ready, with flexibility to adapt to a busy OR workflow in a home healthcare - hospice setting.
