Brew Crew Opportunity

Our Brew Crew is seeking a Manager Financial Planning Analysis to partner closely with cross-functional business leaders within the organization and assist them with analyzing budgets, providing analytical guidance and support, and identifying operational implementations to support efficiencies and business drivers. This includes researching and analyzing key business drivers, trends, and performance indicators for the future growth of CBTL's U.S. business. With an emphasis on delivering disciplined growth, enhancing financial reporting, and driving business review processes, this position will be responsible for supporting, developing, and improving the financial processes that enable sound planning and decision-making. This role acts as the analytical engine of the U.S. company-owned business to provide insights on business strategy and support data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and support an efficient and effective long-term planning and forecasting process that produces accurate, achievable plans and forecasts that align with the strategic objectives of the business
  • Develop metrics to monitor the performance against forecasts and strategic objectives. Provide highly relevant insights into business performance to trigger action planning, and facilitate those discussions
  • Analyze business drivers impacting organizational performance through interpretation of financial results and macro-economic trends impacting the market landscape to drive action and challenge/support decisions
  • Develop a thorough understanding of business drivers and operations to support operating leaders in data-driven decision-making and action planning to maximize opportunities
  • Lead the preparation of comprehensive business reviews and updates to various audience decks to facilitate strategic planning for senior leadership
  • Build and maintain complex financial and analytical models using advanced Excel skills and SQL queries and automating them
  • Execute special projects in support of the Head of Finance

  • Information Technology - Advanced knowledge of Excel; knowledge of SQL, Lawson, Dynamics AX and Power BI a plus but not required

Your Ingredients

  • 5+years relevant working experience in Finance in Restaurant & Franchise business or related industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related discipline
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with substantial hands-on experience in conducting sophisticated business analysis or modelling
  • Effective partnering, communication, and presentation skills
  • Solid business acumen and industry knowledge
  • Proficient in using MS Office applications, SAS, SPSS, Arena, and other simulation packages

This is a hybrid position: Monday-Wednesday in our Los Angeles office and Thursday and Friday remote.
