Contract : 12+ months

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to support process development, optimization, and continuous improvement within our Irvine facility. This role involves developing and improving manufacturing methods, evaluating processes, and ensuring product quality by applying engineering principles across design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.

• Develop and enhance manufacturing processes by researching requirements, designing solutions, and testing methods and equipment.

• Improve efficiency by analyzing workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.

• Ensure product and process quality through test method design, capability studies, and establishing standards.

• Provide decision-making insights by calculating production, labor, and material costs, reviewing schedules, and estimating future needs.

• Collect, analyze, and summarize data to prepare reports on products and processes.

• Support regulatory compliance by maintaining processes aligned with government standards.

• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment in coordination with maintenance and vendors.

• Document and maintain product and process databases, including technical reports and engineering documentation.

• Guide and train technicians on design and development projects.

• Stay current with industry knowledge through workshops, publications, and professional networks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

1. Proficiency in reading mechanical and electrical/PCB drawings.

2. Experience in Life Cycle Management (LCM), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), verification and validation activities, and technical/engineering documentation.

3. Strong initiative with the ability to work independently and make risk-based decisions.
