About the role
The Customer Success Field Specialist will provide the leadership necessary to manage, support and grow TELUS Agronomy enterprise relationships with new and existing accounts, locations and customers. The role has primary responsibility for training and fostering adoption of TELUS Agronomy’s enterprise precision software. The Customer Success Field Specialist will work with targeted organizations to ensure they have a successful onboarding experience and will serve as the key customer contact, essentially owning the success of their region. The position is fully remote and will be responsible for traveling to remote locations within your assigned region per customer requirements in order to drive customer feature adoption and usage of the Agronomy toolset. We are looking to fill up to five positions to cover five key geographical areas across the United States.
Here’s How
This is a highly visible position that will interact at every level internally and externally to help our enterprise customers grow their usage of the TELUS Agronomy system. The Customer Success Field Specialist is engaged at the account level in providing recommendations, proactive advice through all phases of the customer life cycle with the customer, and hands-on training in the field for an assigned customer list within a specific region.
- Lead and demonstrate the use of TELUS Agronomy's data and technology.
- Identify training needs and methods to grow use of TELUS Agronomy field software and customer satisfaction.
- Aid the Customer Success team in developing training materials for the purpose of channel education.
- Plan and lead software training and educational meetings (in-person and via webinars).
- Develop and document feature use-cases for new product development and/or enhancements.
- Identify, summarize, and communicate requirements for software solutions.
- Conduct regular planning with key accounts to ensure the software is meeting their needs.
- Foster the adoption of TELUS Agronomy software and services to new and existing customers.
- Identify, analyze and prioritize enterprise account goals, product opportunities and innovative adoption concepts.
- Provide an excellent customer service experience, especially when customers have time sensitive issues.
- Advocate for the customer’s technology and influence change.
- Effectively track all activities in Salesforce and maintain good account structure for new, closed, or modified user or location accounts.
- Utilize robust reporting to understand your effectiveness, determine next best actions and update routing plans for maximum impact.

- Proficiently anticipate, identify and resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively.
- Utilize customer familiarity, industry and market knowledge to successfully present and demonstrate TELUS Agronomy software to clients.
- A remarkable aptitude for assisting and training customers with technology.
- Act with a sense of urgency to execute and implement strategies that positively impact adoption and grow client usage of TELUS Agronomy software.
- Provide support for key customers via phone or email outside of documented business hours as necessary.
- Successfully follow and implement key Customer Success milestones and provide feedback on ever-evolving metrics for Customer Success.
Technical Expertise
- Possess a moderate understanding of precision ag hardware and software.
- Excellent knowledge of farming practices and agricultural equipment and electronics.
- Develop knowledge of TELUS Agronomy’s products and pricing strategies.
- Develop an excellent knowledge of TELUS Agronomy’s internal tools for the purposes of account setup/modification and troubleshooting.
Teamwork
- Collaborate and communicate timely and accurate information regarding customer issues and concerns to other members of the Customer Success team.
- Accurately track all customer interactions in the CRM program which includes regularly updating and maintaining the CRM information.
- Eagerness to learn and undertake additional responsibilities in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.

What you bring to this role
- Post-secondary education (Bachelor’s Degree preferred) in a related field such as Agricultural Business, Plant Science, Agronomy, Farm Management, or Precision Agriculture.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of account management experience in an Agricultural related field with the use of a web-based or mobile platform.
- Knowledge of farming practices and equipment.
- General knowledge of the principles and practices of soil fertility, fertilizer recommendations, site-specific agronomy, and GIS systems/GPS technologies.
- The position is fully remote and will be responsible for traveling to remote locations within your assigned region per customer requirements in order to drive customer feature adoption and usage of the Agronomy toolset.
