Quality Control Inspector
Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Include the following, as well as other duties that may be assigned.
- Calibration Program – Equipment calibration, periodic verification.
- Corrective Actions – Assign, investigate and respond to opportunities for improvement.
- Certification of Conformance – Complete and submit supporting documentation as required.
- Equipment Maintenance – Scheduling and recording equipment maintenance.
- All Inspection activities – First Article, In-Process and Final.
- RMAs, Scrap and Internal Rejects – Analyze all products and processes in order to identify root causes and problem resolution.
- Implement and manage all calibration activities through formal programs.
- Documentation – Complete both internal and customer related documentation as required.
- Other duties and assignments as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to calculate figures and perform metric conversions.
- Ability to read and interpret print drawings and customer expectations.
- 5 years minimum experience using CMM/Arm using PC-DMIS Software.
Education and Experience: (Required and preferred educational and experiential qualifications)
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in both quality assurance and quality control preferred.
- Strong manufacturing, inspection background experience preferred.

Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to office equipment and moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however certain areas of the work environment may have elevated noise levels and require hearing protection.
