Childcare/Preschool Director

Are you passionate about early childhood education and love leading a team in a Christ-centered environment? We are a growing, faith-based childcare and preschool program seeking a visionary Childcare Director who is ready to shape young hearts and lead with excellence.

The Childcare Director will oversee the day-to-day operations and spiritual development of our licensed childcare and preschool ministry. This person will lead with both administrative skill and a pastoral heart, ensuring compliance with all regulations while creating a joyful, safe, and Christ-focused environment for children, families, and staff.

What You'll Do:

• Lead, train, and care for an exceptional team of early childhood educators.
• Create a Biblically-rooted, developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Maintain full licensing compliance with the CA Department of Social Services.
• Oversee staff scheduling to ensure proper classroom coverage and compliance with ratios.
• Manage hiring, onboarding, and orientation of new staff in alignment with ministry values.
• Provide ongoing supervision, support, and evaluation for childcare team members.
• Build strong, gospel-centered relationships with parents and families.
• Promote our program with excellence and expand our community reach.
• Develop and implement plans for ministry growth, safety, outreach, and communication.
• Participate in church staff meetings, events, and shared space coordination.

Requirements:

• 15+ECE Units (including 3 in admin/staff relations.
• 4+ years experience in a licensed center.
• Strong leadership, planning, organization, and communication skills.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and Preventative Health Certification.
• Clean background check & current physical/immunizations.
• A deep love for Jesus and a heart for ministry.
