Working Conditions

Travel is required for this position including statewide and possibly overnight as needed.

This position is eligible for telework in accordance with CCC’s Telework Policy and will be required to report to the office at least two days a week or as needed/required.

This position staffs the California Natural Resources Agency Career Center a minimum of two days a month.

Please Note: This position is classified as “Hybrid” and is currently eligible for full time telework due to on-going renovations at CCC Headquarters (HQ) located at 1719 24th Street, Sacramento, CA. However:

  • You may be occasionally required to work from the CCC Sacramento Center location (570 Bercut Drive, Sacramento, CA) based on business need (printing, mailing, meetings, etc.).
  • Once HQ renovations are complete, you will be notified and the in-office reporting location will revert to HQ (anticipated return is mid-May or later) and this position will revert to a “Hybrid” schedule of up to three days of telework per week, with a minimum of two days of in-office work.
  • Effective July 1, 2026, there is a Statewide mandate that requires a work schedule of four days of in-office work per week for all “Hybrid” eligible positions.

Career Consultation

California Conservation Corps is excited to take part in the first agency-wide collaborative physical career center. The career center is located in the heart of Downtown Sacramento in the brand new CNRA headquarters building. Services provided include one-on-one career consultations, application/resume review, career guidance, mock interviews, and tips for applying.

Days: Open every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (except state holidays)

Salary Information

Effective July 1, 2025, the California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) implemented the temporary Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025).
