Job Overview:

Are you a dedicated litigator with a passion for justice and advocacy for seriously injured individuals? We are seeking a skilled Personal Injury Attorney to join a highly regarded litigation and trial team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside one of California's leading trial attorneys, managing a dynamic caseload, engaging in depositions and mediations, and participating in trial proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a caseload of 30-40 personal injury cases, serving as the lead attorney through all stages of litigation, from filing to trial.
• Develop case strategies and theories tailored to client needs.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Take and defend depositions, including those involving plaintiffs, defendants, and expert witnesses.
• Conduct settlement negotiations and represent clients in mediations.
• Act as second chair during trials, collaborating with the trial team.
• Maintain consistent client communication to provide case updates.
• Supervise and guide paralegal and support staff activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in plaintiff personal injury litigation.
• Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• License: Active membership with the California State Bar in good standing.
• Proven ability to manage and resolve high-value cases independently.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Client-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
• High ethical standards and a commitment to professional integrity.

Note: Trial experience is not mandatory but highly preferred.

Schedule:

• Standard 8-hour shifts.
• Weekend work as needed.

Experience Required:

• Personal Injury Law: 3+ years (required)

License/Certification:

• Active California State Bar License (required)
