The Investment Associate will primarily support commercial real estate debt and equity originators and equity asset managers and will be involved in all aspects of the mortgage origination and equity acquisition process including underwriting, research, due diligence, negotiations, deal structuring, and closing. Financial modeling, investment analysis and preparation of internal investment memoranda are the core aspects of the job. The candidate will also participate in internal and external client meetings, presentations to senior management, and property/market tours.
This position offers an outstanding opportunity to develop a solid career in commercial real estate, work on large and complex transactions, and interact with many of the premier players in the industry. The right candidate has useful experience/training, is interested in institutional quality commercial real estate and finance as a career, has strong analytical abilities, communicates clearly, can multi-task, works hard, is a self-starter, is outgoing and works cooperatively in a team environment.

- Working knowledge of various commercial real estate asset classes including office buildings, shopping centers, multifamily properties, industrial buildings, and other specialty asset types.
- Understanding of various debt product including senior mortgages, mezzanine and subordinated loans, and preferred equity.
Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $85,000-$110,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
