Your work will directly enable our customers to get more value from the Snowflake platform and shape the future direction of the product.
AS A SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL :
Design and build backend data pipelines and services to provide a rich set of original data and insights as a service on the Marketplace to customers
Collaborate with product managers, architects, other engineering teams, data science organizations, business groups, to drive end to end solutions.
Contribute to improving our engineering processes, tooling, and standards.
Debug production issues across multiple services and improve reliability/stability.
OUR IDEAL SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER WILL HAVE:
7+ years industry experience designing, building and supporting backend data pipelines & services
Extremely strong fundamental computer science skills.
Deep multi-faceted appreciation in building end-to-end customer facing products.
Strong knowledge of Java, Python
Experience driving company initiatives towards customer satisfaction.
Experience working with product managers & cross-functional teams
BS/MS in Computer Science or related majors, or equivalent experience.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:
- The estimated base salary range for this role is $195,000 - $287,500 .
- Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflakes bonus and equity plan.
The successful candidates starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
