Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active California Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings preferred, including follow-up and progress reporting workflows.
• Comfort with 1:1 direct patient care throughout the day.
• Ability to manage a high daily patient volume; current caseload ranges from 16 to 18 patients per day.
• Experience treating a wide age range from teens to geriatrics preferred.
• Hands-on clinicians only; no pelvic floor or exclusively wheelchair-bound caseload focus expected.
• Submit an up-to-date resume. Candidate placement is influenced by experience and start date.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Patient Ratio: 1:1 direct patient care.
• Caseload: Approximately 16–18 patients per day, primarily orthopedic follow-up visits and progress reports. Initial evaluations typically completed by a designated onsite PT.
• Scope: Treats teen through geriatric populations. No pelvic floor responsibility and not focused on wheelchair-bound care.
