Executive Director (San Francisco)

Position: Executive Director
The Executive Director is responsible for the efficient operations and overall management of the community, including day-to-day functions, staff supervision, and compliance with policies, standards, and regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Hiring, evaluating, coordinating, monitoring performance, scheduling, and supervising staff.
- Achieving and maintaining budgeted occupancy and financial compliance.
- Representing the property professionally to the community and the corporation.
- Creating a supportive and enjoyable lifestyle for residents.
Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of college and at least three (3) years of experience providing residential care to the elderly, or equivalent education and experience approved by the Department of Social Services.
- Valid California Residential Care Facility for the Elderly Certification or Licensed Nursing Home Executive Director license.
- Prefer five (5) years of supervisory and management experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.) and ability to operate a personal computer.
- Knowledge of assisted living and dementia care practices.
- Ability to work patiently with seniors and cognitively impaired individuals.
- Flexibility, adaptability, decision-making skills in stressful situations, and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for diverse audiences.
- Ability to pass criminal background and health screening tests, including physical and TB tests.
- Compliance with COVID-19 safety protocols, including vaccination and PPE requirements, as mandated by regulatory guidelines.
