Payroll and Benefits Specialist
We are seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to support full-cycle, high-volume payroll operations for a growing organization. This is a hands-on role designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and takes pride in accuracy, compliance, and ownership.
What You’ll Be Responsible For Support 360-degree full-cycle payroll processing on a bi-weekly scheduleAdminister payroll using ADP
Ensure compliance with California labor laws, wage and hour regulations, and payroll reporting requirements
Support compliance and reporting
Support benefits administration and coordination
Assist with payroll reports and audits using advanced Excel skills
Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee payroll inquiries and supervisor support
Identify payroll discrepancies, troubleshoot issues independently, and implement process improvements
Maintain strict confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive payroll data Candidate Must-Haves
This is a big job and requires someone who can confidently manage all aspects of payroll at scale. 2+ years of progressive payroll and benefits administration experience
Proven experience managing high-volume, full-cycle payroll
Advanced experience with HRIS systems
Strong understanding of California payroll compliance and labor laws
Compliance and reporting experience
Knowledge of DOT compliance requirements
Advanced computer skills with strong Excel and reporting capabilities
Exceptional attention to detail, math aptitude, and sense of urgency
Ability to self-train, research issues, and problem-solve independently
Excellent communication skills with employees, managers, and leadership How to Apply?
