Who We Are

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BI Data Architect IV to join our Financial Data & Analytics team. This role is critical in shaping the enterprise data architecture, ensuring data consistency, and enabling high-impact reporting and analytics across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and communication skills to support cross-functional initiatives and drive data-driven decision-making.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development of semantic data models , data definitions , and metric standards to support enterprise-wide reporting and analytics.
• Partner with business and technical teams to analyze complex business scenarios and translate them into scalable data solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by translating technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
• Deliver executive-level presentations and documentation to communicate data architecture strategies and outcomes.
• Design and maintain data models , data mappings , and metadata documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy across systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data is sourced from systems of record and aligned with business needs.
• Support the migration and integration of data across platforms, ensuring data quality and governance standards are upheld.
• Contribute to the development of business data definitions and support the standardization of key financial and operational terms (e.g., RH Affiliate vs. Company).
• Provide guidance on data governance best practices , including data privacy, security, and compliance.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in data, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience working with large, complex data platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
• Proven experience in data modeling , ETL pipeline design , and semantic layer development .
• Strong understanding of accounting and finance concepts , including intercompany transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate technical ideas effectively to business stakeholders and executives.
• Experience with BI tools such as Domo, Cognos, OBIEE, or MicroStrategy.
• Proficiency in SQL and working with both traditional and cloud-based data platforms.
• Strong business writing and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with ERP, CRM, HCM, Procure-to-Pay, Incentive Compensation , and financial systems .
• Experience with Knowledge Base tools like Collibra, Data.world, Document360, Confluence etc.
• Understanding of project management methodologies and international business concepts , including currency exchange.
• Certifications in Analytics, Data Science, or related fields are a plus.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) a plus but not required

The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
