Bilingual Legal Processor
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Legal Processor for a hybrid opportunity in Novato, CA. This role is ideal for a legal administrative professional or legal support specialist who is fluent in English and Spanish and enjoys working with legal documents, client communications, and high-volume case processing. The Bilingual Legal Processor will support legal release processing for active and bankrupt defendant matters, including preparing, reviewing, sending, tracking, and uploading legal documents. This position requires strong attention to detail, comfort communicating with clients, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment. Key Responsibilities - Prepare Compromise and Release documents using firm templates or defendant-provided releases, making appropriate adjustments as needed.- Send legal documents to clients by DocuSign or mail and review returned documents for complete and accurate execution.
- Compile and send required supporting documents, including Request for Dismissal forms, medical exposure forms, Medicare eligibility forms, Successor-In-Interest declarations, and related documents.
- Process bankrupt defendant releases, upload fully executed releases to Trust websites, and mail documents when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate internal logs and tracking records throughout the full release process.
- Communicate with clients by phone to follow up on outstanding documents and answer questions related to releases or Medicare eligibility. Compensation and Benefits - Compensation: $27.00 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Prepare, review, send, track, and process legal release documents for active and bankrupt defendant matters.- Communicate with clients regarding document completion, release questions, and Medicare eligibility information.
- Maintain accurate internal case logs and support high-volume legal document workflows. - 1 to 2 years of legal experience required.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, including the ability to read, write, and translate documents.
- Comfortable speaking with clients by phone in a professional and helpful manner.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to review documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Excellent computer skills, including comfort working with electronic documents and online systems.
- Ability to manage a high volume of work while meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a legal support team. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with DocuSign or similar electronic signature platforms.
- Experience working with legal settlements, releases, dismissals, or case closing documents.
- Familiarity with LHWCA matters, asbestos-related legal claims, bankruptcy trust processing, or Medicare eligibility documentation.
