Product Manager, Reagents

Gator Bio’s current product portfolio includes biolayer interferometry (BLI) systems using optic fiber biosensors.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager for Gator Bio's consumables portfolio, including biosensors, reagents, and kits. You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and commercialization. Your goal is to ensure that our consumables meet the evolving needs of our customers and contribute to the company's overall growth and success.
\n Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Product Strategy: Develop and execute product strategies for Gator Bio's consumables portfolio, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Product Development: Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams to develop and launch new consumable products, ensuring compliance with design control regulations.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to commercialization, including product positioning, pricing, promotion, and sales.
- Content Generation: Collaborate with the R&D team to generate application notes, posters, and white papers that highlight the benefits and applications of Gator Bio's consumables.
- Sales Enablement: Provide sales teams with the necessary tools, training, and support to effectively sell consumables products.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with customers and partners to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Financial Performance: Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, including sales, market share, and profitability.
- 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the life sciences or healthcare industry.
- Hands on experience with bioanalytical instrument and consumables are desired.
- Strong understanding of the biotech market, including applications of biosensors, reagents, and kits.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and commercializing new products.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-centric approach: A high level of comfort in engaging with customers to understand their needs and discuss product usage.
- Travel requirements: Ability to travel over 20%, including internationally.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, carry, and/or move 20 lbs.
- This role will require long periods of standing and sitting.
- The employee will be required to use hands for computer work and pipetting.
- Required biosafety training upon hiring.
- Must pass a health screening.
$130,000 - $135,000 a year
