- Project Management: Lead and manage engineering and technician teams to ensure successful project completion.
- Coordination: Oversee structural design scope, coordinating efforts both in-house and with external consultants.
- Planning and Budgeting: Create, monitor, and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for design.
- Client Interaction: Serve as the primary contact for clients and contractors throughout design and construction phases.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and execute project-specific QA/QC plans.
- Mentorship: Support and mentor less-experienced staff, fostering their professional growth.
- Representation: Attend project meetings, representing Martin/Martin during design and construction phases.
- Relationship Building: Actively build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 9 years of progressive engineering experience (MSCE/MSAE counts as 1 year; passing the 16-hour SE exam also counts as 1 year)
- Proven leadership skills that support the company’s long-term growth
- Extensive experience in designing and managing projects from initial design through construction completion
- Strong internal and external communication skills
- Advanced project management expertise
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proven capability to manage confidential information responsibly
