Under the direction of the Lieutenant, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) is responsible for providing administrative and analytical duties that require initiative, good judgment, tact and diplomacy, and a thorough knowledge of appropriate administrative practices; providing research assistance to the Administrative Lieutenant in overseeing, coordinating, and synchronizing the management of operations of the Executive Office and commands under the Departmental Affairs Division; and conducting research, preparing reports, analyzing data, reviewing staff work, recommending corrections, tracking projects, and drafting and formating memos, letters, and other correspondence for the Departmental Affairs Division. This position requires a thorough working knowledge of California Highway Patrol policies and procedures and the requirements of related laws, rules, and control agencies.You will find additional information about the job in the .
