Primary Care/ Nurse Practitioner Watsonville, CA

COMPENSATION: $170k-$185k

We are looking for a full-time relationship-centered Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to add to our team at our near-site employer-sponsored primary care clinic Watsonville, CA.

We provide high-quality, proactive primary care to adults and children in partnership with local employers or unions. We focus on prevention and wellness, acute and chronic disease management, and maximizing provider-patient relationships. We seek providers who are passionate about providing full-spectrum primary care resulting in top-notch clinical quality, outstanding service, and increased overall health outcomes.

Role: typical day in the life

• Compensation: $170-$185 (based on experience)
• Location: Watsonville, CA
• Need: 1 Nurse Practitioner
• Full range of Family Practice
• Patient demographics: 50/45 men/women, 5% Children (ages 2+)
• Clinical Support Staff: 2-APPs, 2-MAs
• Most patients prefer to speak Spanish MAs are fluent, has a translation service available
• Good mix of annual wellness and episodic care along with chronic disease management
• Typically sees patients back-to-back, 20 minutes follow up, 60-minute annual
• 12-15 people a day in the busy season, during harvest is closer to 5 a day
• Work with MA, dispense medications
• Onsite Dispensary
• Onsite Lab

Requirements:

• NP
• Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish
• Minimum 2 years outpatient experience

Hours:

• Week 1

  Monday 8-5, Tuesday 10-7, Wednesday 8-5, Thursday 8-5, Friday 8-5

• Week 2

Monday off, Tuesday 8-5, Wednesday 8-5, Thursday 10-7, Friday 8-5, Saturday 8-5
