ResponsibilitiesThe Wireless IST team is seeking a proactive Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM)to lead complex, cross‑functional hardware programs from concept through customer delivery. The TPM drives schedules, risks, communication, and alignment across R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, support, and customer teams to deliver integrated radio subsystems meeting stringent performance and qualification requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Execution
- Lead end‑to‑end planning and execution across R&D, IST, manufacturing, and supply chain, and customer teams.
- Serve as the primary program interface to the customer TPM, internal leadership, and engineering organizations.
- Ensure all functions are aligned on priorities, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and required milestones.
Scheduling, Risk & Documentation
- Develop, maintain, and continuously update the integrated master schedule, critical path, and dependencies.
- Maintain a comprehensive risk register including risk identification, owners, mitigation plans, and closure timelines.
- Ensure all program documentation (SOW deliverables, plans, reports, action logs) is up to date and accessible.
Reporting & Communication
- Deliver weekly internal status updates summarizing progress, risks, issues, decisions, and next steps.
- Provide monthly program reports for leadership and customer, highlighting:
- Progress, schedule adherence, any changes in the critical path.
- Accomplishments for the period and plans for the following month.
- Summarized in a risk matrix with anticipated closure dates.
- Communicate issues clearly with root causes, impacts, and recovery plans.
- Prepare executive‑ready slides, dashboards, and data‑driven insights.
Customer Engagement
- Facilitate with customer TPM to clarify requirements, review progress, manage expectations, and address escalations.
- Ensure commitments to customers are realistic, documented, and consistently met.
- Align customer deliverables with internal engineering and manufacturing schedules.
- Ability to successfully manage customer expectations through solution delivery cycle .
Process & Governance
- Improve program execution processes and support milestone/risk governance.
- Help establish governance structures for milestone reviews, risk management, and change control.

Qualifications- Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 5-8+ years in technical program management or engineering leadership.
- Experience coordinating across R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain.
- Strong understanding of hardware development and hardware/software integration.
- Strong risk management and problem‑solving skills.
- Skilled with MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, and Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-technology industries (e.g., wireless, satellite, networking, test & measurement).
- Experience leading complex hardware/software customer programs.
- Excellent communication and executive‑level reporting skills.
- PMP preferred.

- Clear, consistent reporting and documentation.
- Effective risk mitigation and issue resolution.
- Strong cross‑functional alignment and customer satisfaction.

Santa Rosa, CA Pay Range: MIN $138,960.00 - MAX $249,750.00
This position requires access to certain goods, software, technology, or technical data subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations. Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above.
