Dental Treatment Coordinator/Insurance Coordinator
Job Description:
- Strong understanding of dental insurance and benefits (PPO plans only) No HMO. No Medicaid.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

- Dental office: 2 years (Required).
- Accurate treatment planning.
- Presenting treatment plans clearly and confidently to patients.
- Strong understanding of PPO plans, coverage, and dental insurance guidelines.
- Reviewing insurance benefits, frequency limitations, downgrades, and out-of-network coverage with patients and explaining estimated costs.
- Scheduling patients efficiently and managing the daily schedule.
- Coordinating patient flow and ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
- Updating and maintaining accurate records in the dental software.
- Communicating with patients about follow-ups, financial arrangements, and upcoming appointments.
- Ensuring compliance with HIPAA and office protocols.
- Maintain accuracy in documentation and follow-up communication.
- Insurance verification for patient plans and coverage.
- Maintain AR (Accounts Receivable) report current and up-to-date.
- Post insurance and patient checks to accounts.
- Send insurance claims promptly and track payment status.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
