Overview
A dynamic, mobile operations leader deployed across the restaurant group to stabilize performance, support openings/transitions, and drive operational excellence. Quick to assess needs, implement best practices, and lead teams through change—including leadership vacancies, rapid growth, underperforming locations, and special initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $110,000 – $140,000 per year, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Step into interim GM roles as needed to ensure smooth daily operations, compliance, and guest satisfaction; conduct rapid unit assessments across service, food quality, labor, and costs; implement brand standards consistently.
- People Leadership & Development: Coach and direct unit management during transitions; support hiring, onboarding, and training for new managers and hourly staff; cultivate bench strength and leadership behaviors.
- Financial & Operational Performance: Improve labor productivity, COGS control, guest satisfaction, health/safety compliance, and revenue growth; stabilize underperforming units using company playbooks; manage weekly financial reviews, forecasting, inventory, and cost controls on assignment.
- Project & Transition Support: Assist with openings, remodels, and relaunches; lead operational conversions during leadership changes; drive strategic initiatives across units with consistent rollout.
Company Representation: Model professionalism, integrity, and accountability; serve as liaison between operations leadership and unit teams; provide timely progress reports, risks, and recommendations.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of GM-level restaurant leadership; multi-unit or multi-concept experience preferred
- High-volume experience (8M+ annual sales) in polished/fine-dining, full-service environments required
- Proven ability to diagnose challenges quickly and implement effective solutions
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate diverse teams under pressure
- Deep knowledge of restaurant operations, labor management, financial controls, and guest service standards
- Willingness to travel frequently and undertake extended assignments across locations
