Bilingual DME Office Assistant

Bilingual Assistant needed for Durable Medical Equipment office in Van Nuys.
Looking for someone who can work independently, handle office tasks, is detail-oriented, organized, and has excellent customer service.

Tasks Include:

• Assisting in the development and implementation of store goals for the growth of store revenue in conjunction with company goals.
• Accountable to senior leadership for store profitability goals.
• Driving sales and revenue growth within the store.
• Conducting performance/attendance management of all staff within the store.
• Depositing accurate cash receipts and forwarding payment information in a timely manner.
• Overseeing efficient, timely deliveries by the staff.
• Assisting in overall marketing to enhance continued profitable company growth.
• Maintaining proper store inventory levels, including ordering inventory items in a timely, efficient manner.
• Maintaining a well-organized retail area that reflects the company’s standard for excellence.
• Conducting staff meetings on a regular basis.
• Being on-call as per company policy.
• Performing other duties as deemed appropriate by senior management.
• Calling insurance companies and doctors' offices for authorizations and billing questions.
• Performing various administrative tasks as needed.
• Data entry (strong computer knowledge).
• Be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, and be able to lift and carry at least 10 lbs.
• Detail Oriented.
• Be able to handle Multitasking and a Fast-Paced Environment.
• Communicate with Medical office staff about patients who need Home Care visits.
• Operate office equipment, such as computer, photocopier, printers, fax, etc.

Experience (Required):

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Successful work experience in a DME environment.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Durable Medical Equipment experience (Preferred).

Job Type: Full-time.

Salary: From $18.00 - $22.00 per/hr depending on experience.
