The Coral Casino, by Chef Thomas Keller , is located within the iconic and recently restored Montecito social club. Now, for the first time in nearly a century, this historic restaurant and landmark will be open to the public. Located along the picturesque coastline of the Pacific Ocean and Butterfly Beach, it will blend its storied past with a modern approach, featuring Chef Thomas Keller’s reimagined Continental cuisine for today’s contemporary audience.

The General Manager at Coral Casino is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and daily execution of operations across three outlets: the Restaurant, Ballroom, and Bakery. This role ensures excellence in service, operational efficiency, and financial performance while maintaining the club’s prestigious reputation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of luxury hospitality, strong business acumen, and a passion for elevating guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Oversee the daily operations of the Restaurant, Ballroom, and Bakery, ensuring seamless service and exceptional guest experiences.
• Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, quality control, and consistency across all outlets.
• Develop and enforce SOPs for service, food quality, and cleanliness, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
• Monitor and analyze guest feedback, implementing improvements as needed.

Financial & Business Performance

• Drive profitability while maintaining high-quality service by managing budgets, cost controls, and revenue goals.
• Collaborate with the Finance team to forecast sales, control labor costs, and manage inventory.
• Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers, chefs, and service staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Oversee hiring, training, and performance management for all front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
• Foster team engagement through coaching, development programs, and career growth opportunities.

Event & Private Dining Oversight

• Oversee Ballroom operations, ensuring flawless execution of private events, weddings, and special functions.
• Partner with the Events team to create memorable, bespoke experiences for high-profile clientele.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships to optimize event logistics and guest satisfaction.

Guest Experience & Brand Integrity

• Uphold the Coral Casino’s luxury brand standards, ensuring an unparalleled experience for members and guests.
• Work closely with Marketing & Membership teams to align operations with brand positioning and member expectations.
• Handle VIP guest relations, proactively addressing concerns and ensuring personalized service.

Qualifications & Experience

• 6+ years of hospitality leadership experience in luxury hotels, private clubs, or high-end restaurants.
• Proven success in multi-outlet management, with experience overseeing restaurants and event spaces.
• Strong financial acumen, including P&L management, budgeting, and cost control.
• Experience leading high-performing teams, with a focus on training, retention, and employee engagement.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations, compliance, and best practices.
• Experience working in a private club or exclusive hospitality setting is preferred.
