Arrow&Branch is a boutique Napa Valley winery dedicated to producing small-lot, terroir-driven wines of distinction sourced from Heritage Vineyards. We seek an accomplished and visionary Director of Hospitality to lead and elevate the guest experience and set the standard for excellence across all brand touchpoints. Position Summary Arrow&Branch (A&B) seeks to employ an individual who is outgoing, confident, knowledgeable, detail-oriented, polished, and genuinely pleasant to work with our existing team at A&B, promoting wine sales direct to consumer and wholesale wine sales. As Director of Hospitality at Arrow&Branch, you will serve as the principal architect of our guest journey — thoughtfully designing, executing, and consistently refining every interaction with our brand. You are a seasoned leader with a refined service ethos, strategic acumen, and an innate understanding of luxury hospitality within the fine wine category. In this role, you will oversee all facets of hospitality operations, cultivate deep relationships with clients and partners, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to expand Arrow&Branch’s reach and resonance. DTC • Perform, assign, or orchestrate all tastings and tours• Increase our Society (Wine Club) membership
• Be the point of contact to drivers, concierges, restaurants, wine shops and winery reciprocity partners
• Develop and cultivate relationships supporting the growth of A&B
• Order processing
• General knowledge of A&B Intranet, overseeing list management, offers, etc.
• Lead and work well with other team members
• Train and mentor new personnel
• Manage and direct releases and offerings by writing copy, mailers, call campaigns, etc.
• Develop and organize winemaker dinners nationwide
• Provide social media content regularly to our content manager
• Curate and develop DTC annual event & charitable calendar
• Oversee DTC communications & client services
• Respond the same day to all DTC emails. If received after 4:00PM then reply before noon the next day
• Maintain A&B Tasting & Trade Request Form on a daily basis
• Handle incoming DTC, wholesale and distributor calls that are transferred to you
• Maintain Tock & Internal Hospitality Calendars
• Oversee general quality control of hospitality and sales operations Wine • Manage inventory and soft goods
• Make sure A&B wine inventory does not fall below critical levels in tasting locations
• Participate in A&B blending sessions
• Manage collateral materials such as tasting, tech notes & order forms, and tasting supplies, etc.
• Attend A&B bottlings, harvests, tastings, charitable events as required
• Be familiar with fulfillment operations as necessary Marketing • Notify A&B Team of industry opportunities (i.e. wineries, vineyards for sale, tasting events, collabs and general vineyard news)
• Monitor and network with NVV, NVGG & Industry organizations for opportunities
• Regularly visit, develop, and maintain relationships with Napa restaurants, wine shops, drivers, and peer groups Strategic Leadership & Vision • Define and champion a comprehensive hospitality strategy that aligns with Arrow&Branch’s brand values, elevates guest engagement, and supports long-term business objectives.
• Lead with purpose, integrity, and a commitment to exceptional service, inspiring the hospitality team to embody a culture of warmth, professionalism, and personalized attention. Guest Experience & Brand Stewardship • Curate and deliver refined, high-touch experiences across all guest interactions — from estate tastings and private tours to curated events and off-site engagements.
• Ensure that every encounter reflects the sophistication of the Arrow&Branch story, fostering memorable moments that deepen guest loyalty. Operational Excellence • Oversee and execute day-to-day hospitality operations with an emphasis on quality, consistency, and efficiency.
• Partner with leadership on forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning to achieve both experiential and financial goals. Team Development & Culture • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing hospitality team grounded in service excellence and product knowledge.
• Foster a collaborative environment that values continuous learning, teamwork, and accountability. Partnerships & Community Engagement • Build and sustain strategic relationships with luxury partners, regional collaborators, and key clients to enhance brand visibility and drive experiential opportunities.
• Represent Arrow&Branch at select external events, tastings, and industry engagements with professionalism and brand integrity. Qualifications • Extensive experience (typically 7+ years) in luxury hospitality leadership, preferably within the wine industry or a related premium lifestyle sector.
• Demonstrated ability to design and lead elevated guest experiences with a commitment to excellence.
• Strategic thinker with strong operational, financial, and people leadership skills.
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and presentation abilities.
• Passion for and strong knowledge of wine, storytelling, and creating meaningful connections and retention with guests.
