This role serves as an Enterprise Technical Project Manager and is recognized as a senior change agent within the Technology Leadership Team. As a member of a diverse and skilled group of project management professionals, the position is responsible for overseeing project management services for enterprise technology initiatives and supporting the management of IT Governance and the agency-wide Information Technology Project Portfolio. The position holds extensive authority to apply project management methodologies and services, ensuring the achievement of successful business outcomes.

Additionally, the position assists in the management of IT Governance and supports the oversight of the agency-wide Information Technology Project Portfolio.

May be required to work extended hours and travel to various locations throughout the State of California when requested.

The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of experience and knowledge expertise in the practices, principles, and techniques of information technology program and project management. Have in dept experience and knowledge of system engineering domains and project management methodologies. Knowledge and experience in information technology governance processes and procedures; contract and vendor management; and organizational change management. Strong communication, leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is desirable but not required.
