Logistics Transportation Coordinator (Bilingual Korean Preferred)

Duration: 12-Month Contract with Strong Potential for Conversion
Pay Rate: Up to $38.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a Bilingual Logistics Transportation Coordinator (English/Korean preferred) to support transportation and delivery operations for major retail customers. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure delivery appointments are scheduled accurately and shipments are delivered on time.
The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, transportation coordination, customer service, and shipment scheduling within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule delivery appointments for major retail customers, including Walmart, Sam's Club, Target, Costco, Amazon, and BJ's.
- Manage delivery appointments through customer portals and ensure timely updates and confirmations.
- Communicate with customers, carriers, transportation providers, and internal teams regarding shipment status and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and provide accurate ETA updates.
- Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, appointment conflicts, shortages, damages, and other transportation-related issues.
- Prepare and maintain appointment confirmations and shipment documentation.
- Respond professionally and promptly to customer inquiries via email and phone.
- Escalate urgent transportation and customer service issues when necessary.
- Maintain shipment reports, tracking logs, appointment schedules, and operational spreadsheets.
- Follow up with carriers to ensure deliveries are completed on time and appointments are met.
- Build strong working relationships with customers, transportation providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Support daily logistics and transportation operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-6 years of experience in logistics, transportation, customer service, or supply chain operations.
- Experience scheduling delivery appointments and coordinating shipments.
- Fluent in English and Korean (spoken and written) preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with major retail customer portals such as Walmart, Target, Costco, Amazon, Sam's Club, or BJ's.
- Experience working directly with carriers, customers, and cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of transportation processes, shipment tracking, and logistics operations.
Additional Opportunity
