The CPA Dude is a tax firm that is modern, laid back, and straight to the point. We offer tax compliance but are truly focused on consulting with Tax Advisory (or TAS).

Our firm works with small business owners, real estate investors, day traders, content creators, tech bros and high net-worth individuals to properly plan for their taxes, throughout the year, and get the chance to showcase real tax savings when we file their returns.

So what goes into tax advisory services? We focus on maximizing tax planning strategies that can make the biggest impact. Some of those include:

• Entity & compensation optimization
• Real estate industry strategies (Asset sales, Depreciation, 1031, Real estate professional, ect)
• Workhorse strategies (Augusta, Accountable plan, travel optimization, etc)
• Retirement optimization
• And much more

Basically nerdy tax stuff.

You’ll be a great fit if:

• You like to find ways to save people money on taxes
• You have a solid understanding of how the tax code works (specifically for business entities)
• You want to host tax planning kickoff calls, implementation calls, and quarterly calls to help provide tax advisory services to our clients throughout the year
• You will be delighted to prepare or review returns that showcase the final tax savings our clients will receive
• You will be interested and intrigued when complex clients are signed up and are uniquely interested in spotting potential tax errors when reviewing the client’s accounting system
• You want to help train internal staff and build an incredible tax advisory team

To be considered, you’ll need:

• 3+ years in tax work
• Respond asap to the client (same day or 24 hours)
• Can think on their feet and drive the service from A-Z using our blueprint and model
• Savvy with software and technical
• Not required, but a bonus if you have a CPA license, be an enrolled agent or have an LLM/JD in tax
• Give two damns about top-tier service
