AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Estimator to be based in Los Angeles, California . _This position is expected to begin Summer 2024._ The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: + Introduced to the Company estimating systems and processes. + Introduced to estimating terminology, measures, concepts and principles for preparing estimates. + Exposed to various processes, project actions, and assumptions that may impact estimates. + Gathers, calculates, and compiles data for use in developing all types of estimates. + Performs the routine aspects of estimating assignments. + Assists senior specialists in performing various estimating functions as required. + Exposed to drawings, specifications, work breakdown structures, charts of accounts, and published and internal data used in preparing estimates. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: + Bachelor's Degree Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or other related field. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience working for a large general contractor. + Previous relevant AECOM internship experience. + Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook), as well as exposure to other construction-based computer programs. + Valid Driver's License to operate an AECOM provided motor vehicle on construction project site(s) to support project tasks, assignments, and scope of work. For positions with driving responsibilities, Motor Vehicle Records are reviewed as part of AECOM's background check process to ensure compliance with the Company's driving standards. Additional Information + Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. + This position may offer relocation assistance. + Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. + Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
