Cleanroom Assembler

Job Summary

We are seeking Cleanroom Assemblers for temp-to-hire opportunities in Camarillo, CA. This role is ideal for detail-oriented manufacturing professionals with hands-on assembly experience who are comfortable working in a cleanroom, controlled environment, laboratory, pharmaceutical, medical device, semiconductor, or similar production setting.

As a Cleanroom Assembler, you will help build product components and sub-assemblies according to blueprints, specifications, and work instructions while supporting quality, safety, and production goals. Key Responsibilities

- Assemble product components, parts, and sub-assemblies according to blueprints, specifications, work instructions, and production requirements.
- Perform in-process inspections to support quality standards and identify issues during production.
- Use mechanical and small precision hand tools to complete assembly, repair, rework, disassembly, and rebuilding tasks.
- Request materials from the stockroom as needed to support production flow and schedule requirements.
- Learn new product assembly processes and complete assigned production tasks independently after training.
- Support a team-focused work environment by following procedures, maintaining constructive work behaviors, and assisting with training new personnel as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $21 per hour for 1st shift.
- Pay: $22 per hour for 2nd shift.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Location: Camarillo, CA.
- 1st shift openings: 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM or 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
- 2nd shift openings: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
- Overtime may be required based on business needs, including early mornings and Saturdays.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Create assemblies per blueprint and specifications on a daily basis.
- Perform in-process inspections and support production quality.
- Operate mechanical and small precision hand tools for assembly, repair, and rework.
- Meet production schedules while following established procedures.

- 1 to 2 years of assembly, manufacturing, production, or related hands-on experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow blueprints, specifications, work instructions, and production procedures.
- Experience using hand tools and precision tools in an assembly or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to perform basic sub-assembly, disassembly, repair, rebuilding, and rework tasks.
- Must be able to understand and perform production processes with limited assistance after training.
- Must meet ITAR requirements as a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Must pass background and drug screening requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, teamwork, and ability to work required overtime.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in a manufacturing assembly, mechanical assembly, or production line environment.
- Experience assisting with training new team members.
- Familiarity with stockroom material requests and production scheduling requirements.
