(Utility & Energy Systems) Full-Stack Developer

Layline Automation is seeking a dedicated and motivated F ull Stack Developer
to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have excellent client-facing soft skills, a robust background in system integration, and strong SQL Server and Oracle database knowledge. This role demands a proficient developer with agile development experience, particularly within the technology or energy sector.

Pr imary Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain , and enhance .Net applications using C#, Asp. Net
  Core (MVC, Web Forms), and related technologies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Integrate software components and third-party programs, ensuring seamless operation and performance.

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

• Work with Agile methodologies, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Implement unit tests using TDD and NUnit to ensure code quality and reliability.

• Design, query, and optimize relational data structures with experience in Oracle databases, including PL/SQL development and performance tuning.

• Design and develop web services, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.

• Utilize Telerik UI for rich UI development.

• Engage with clients to understand requirements and provide technical support.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proficiency in C#, XML , .Net 8, XSD, and web services.

• Strong understanding of TDD and experience with NUnit .

• Expertise in Asp. Net
  Core (MVC, Web Forms) and Telerik RadControls .

• Solid knowledge of SQL Server (2022) with T-SQL and Oracle 11g with PL/SQL.

• Experience with SSIS and limited experience with SSRS.

• Familiarity with Entity Framework, LINQ to SQL, PowerShell, WCF, jQuery, AJAX, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Competence in Visual Studio (2022), SOAP UI, Websphere MQ, Git, GitHub, Subversion, and Perforce .

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven work experience as a Full-Stack Developer or similar role.

• 5 years of proven work experience in software development

• Background in backend development and system integration.

• Exposure to legacy system conversion is a plus.

• Experience with Java, Biztalk Server (2006/2002/2000), Visual Basic 6.0, Excel VBA, and MS Access is beneficial.
