Inventory Material Controller

Job Description:

We are searching for a meticulous inventory controller to manage the inventory for our company. In this role, you will be required to coordinate orders and deliveries, perform regular inventory audits and analyses, and forecast the supply and demand of raw materials and finished product inventory to ensure consistent stock levels.

To ensure success as an inventory controller, you should be highly organized and have detailed knowledge of supply chain management software and practices. A top-notch inventory controller will be able to accurately forecast inventory requirements and possess excellent logistical abilities.

Inventory Controller Responsibilities:

• Responsible for collecting, interpreting and reporting daily production data.
• Send completed daily production reporting to all required members of management.
• Coordinate with the Production and Shipping team to ensure production data and reporting is accurate a up to date.
• Manages monthly physical inventory counts and ensures the information is accurate and reported correctly.
• Assist the logistic department in securing incoming delivery trucking and making appointments as needed.
• Regularly coordinates with the Plant Manager, Production Manager, and Team Leader on production reporting accuracy and paperwork issues.
• Work in SBMS system to ensure inventory tracking is current and up to date.
• Monitor inventory levels and discuss needs as needed with Plan Management/Sales and the Raw materials Purchasing Manager.
• Coordinates as needed with the finance team for MIS reporting and other monthly reporting requirements.
• Additional special projects, tasks, duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Inventory Controller Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics or related field.
• minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, or similar.
• Excellent knowledge of inventory management software such as SAP Inventory.
• Exceptional understanding of inventory management ABC analysis and cycle counting.
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to lift-up to 50 lbs. stoop, bend, ascend/descend stairs, and ladders, stand and walk for long periods.
• Experience working in a high noise manufacturing environment.
• Good analytical and logistical thinking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional collaboration and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
