Learning Management Specialist

Halvik is looking for a Learning Management Specialist, to help support one of it's DoD contracts. The Contractor shall provide support for learning management systems content and the production of video and teaching material for the acceleration of learning, training, and retaining of critical knowledge, skills, and capabilities. The Contractor shall perform the following tasks:

• Provide scripting, story boarding, staging, and production planning of videos and teaching material in accordance with approved content.
• Provide editing services for existing and planned videos and teaching material to produce engaging adult learning videos of sufficient quality to accelerating learning.
• Provide measure of effectiveness in accelerating learning, training, and retaining of produced and provided videos and teaching material.
• Make recommendations for effective delivery mechanisms of produced and provided videos and material. Experience with various instructional methodologies, standards and training applications to include Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM), Computer-based Training (CBT), Blackboard, Moodle, Canvas, TalentLMS, Sakai, etc. and other new and emerging applications.
• Ensure all produced videos are Closed Captioned (CC) to comply with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (29 U.S.C. 794d), as amended in 1998 standards and effective content retrieval using search engines.

Requirements:

- Must have a current Secret clearance

- Must have excellent excellent verbal/written communication skills

- Must have a BA/BS degree in Instructional Design Development, Training or Education

- Must have at a minimum, 5 years of experience in the related field
