Sales Training and Development Manager

SUMMARY: We seek a dynamic and experienced Sales Training & Development Manager to join our team . The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, a proven track record in training and development, and the ability to drive performance improvement across our sales teams. The Sales Training & Development Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills and effectiveness of our sales force. We are thrilled to discover an individual who is passionate and excited about working and traveling to various stores across Northern California, as required (with occasional overnight travel). This job demands working two weekends each month, and potentially all major holidays, although it offers an excellent opportunity to acquire valuable experience and create a positive impact. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.- Establishes and coordinates an organization-wide approach to training and development.
- Develops and executes innovative strategies to ensure the organization has the necessary skills and competencies to meet company business plans.
- Develops a needs analysis to identify skills/competency gaps and establish measures to track progress.
- Defines minimum skill proficiencies for critical positions and develops a process for evaluating incumbents to identify strengths and weaknesses.
- Establishes a process for designing, identifying, delivering, coordinating, and evaluating seminars, workshops, courses, and training curricula to make training recommendations to management.
- Design and deliver engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars for sales representatives, managers, and other relevant staff
- Develops and implements programs, processes, and strategies that enable managers to plan, evaluate, develop, and improve their human and organizational resources to optimize their contribution to the company.
- Identifies leadership development needs and implements appropriate training and development programs; establishes a company-wide mentoring program to ensure the development of future leadership.
- Provides internal consulting to individuals and stores on training and development opportunities that will enhance their performance.
- Create training materials, including presentations, handouts, e-learning modules, and other resources to support training initiatives
- Collaborate with sales leadership and subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and up-to-date
- Assures sales staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and government regulations.
- Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance.
- Keeps up to date on the overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions.
- Utilize a variety of training methods and techniques, such as role-playing, simulations, case studies, and group activities to maximize learning outcomes
- Identify weaknesses at the store level in the area of “customer service” and create procedures or training plans to prevent future challenges.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and innovations in sales training and development
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.Four to six years of leading comprehensive training programs

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 per year, plus a bonus and car allowance.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:- Collect, interpret, and/or analyze complex data and information.
